Harrow Children and Young People’s NEEDS Analysis

We want to help children and young people in Harrow to live Healthier, Happier and Safer lives, but we need to hear directly from children and young people around what support and services will make a difference to them.

This work is being supported and led by Peer Leaders from both the Harrow Youth Parliament and a range of locally based youth forums.

We want to collectively inspire and support our children and young people to have a voice around matters that most affect their lives.

By taking a joint up approach between Education, Council and the Voluntary and Community Sector we aim to understand all of issues that the 26,000 CYP in Harrow are facing including the hidden needs and risk factors.

The primary objective is to attract more external funding and to influence planning around our offer to ensure we meet the needs identified by OUR children & young people in Harrow.

Here is the update of how we are doing

Blue Markers = Peer leader trained to support the school

Purple Question Mark = Peer leader still wanted

Red Flag = School/College is signed up and either agreed an amount of surveys or in discussions
