The Arts for Life Project is a charitable organisation supporting young people’s emotional health and mental wellbeing through the therapeutic value of the Creative Arts.
We run after school classes and holiday workshops along with visiting schools and home-education facilities to encourage imagination, interaction, communication and happiness for all young people and their families. We are a fully inclusive activity enabling all abilities to attend.
The project also offers parent sessions once a month and a consultation support service for families that are having challenges.
The Arts for Life Project is run by psychotherapists, artists and young people who understand the value of proactive mental health.

Young People engage in a variety of activities that encourages proactive mental health and emotional intelligence development through proactive arts:
Inc: Art (flat and 3-dimensional), movement, singing, music-making, cookery. Sessions combine arts with underlying emotional intelligence development through fun, relaxed activities. This helps balance the internal dialogue that individuals use daily to manage their lives both consciously and subconsciously. Emotional development is interlaced into each session without conscious awareness creating a safe and secure environment for young people to enjoy, have fun, develop and grow.
