Shaftesbury Enterprise Impact Report
Young Harrow Foundation and Shaftesbury Enterprise have worked closely together since 2015 to improve the opportunities and outcomes for children and young people in Harrow. Through our partnership, we have been able to support targeted interventions for some of the most vulnerable young people - and making sure small local charities could continue their vital work locally.
Our partnership has evolved from an informal approach with regular meetings to a more planned way of working that enables Harrow School to support a great number of charities in the community and ensure their investment is linked to the latest social needs of children and young people.
Harrow School supported the inception of the SEND/Short Breaks Pilot where 32 children and young people are currently attending the programme. The Harrow Change Makers Programme saw Harrow Council taking a lead role in bringing together a key group of organisations to support 1,750 people in Harrow.
The Flex Funding, Cost of Living and The Children's University Programme are additional projects where Harrow School continues to support the community.
