Arts Council National Lottery Project Grants

National Lottery Project Grants is our open access programme for arts, museums and libraries projects. The fund supports thousands of individual artists, community and cultural organisations.

What’s changing?

It will continue to be our open access programme supporting individual practitioners, community and cultural organisations with arts, museums and libraries projects that help us to deliver our strategy, Let’s Create.

Changes will include raising the small grants threshold from £15,000 to £30,000 and aligning the application form and criteria with our three Outcomes and four Investment Principles set out in Let’s Create.

Full details of these changes will be published in October 2021.

The current additional supplementary guidance will still apply until 30 November 2021. We also have a ring-fenced budget of £1.5 million until 31 March 2022 available within National Lottery Project Grants specifically to support the grassroots music sector.
