Keith is an advisor to the YHF Board
Keith currently works for the Scout Association as their Growth & Development Officer for the London Boroughs of Barnet & Harrow. Keith has been involved with the formation & running of the Young Harrow Foundation since its inception. Prior to working with the Scout Association Keith was a Senior Project Manager with the BBC, BBC Technology & more latterly Siemens Business Solutions.
Keith lives in Harrow & has done since 1985. He is a volunteer with the 9th Kenton Scout Group & a member of the Stanmore & District Scout Council & Leadership Team. He has been involved in volunteering & Scouting for 20 years. He is also a Governor at Priestmead Primary School & was, until 2015, their Chair of Governors with fifteen years’ experience in that role.
Keith believes fervently that young people should be valued, listened too & have a voice. Cuts to youth related services must be addressed &, where possible, we need to make sure that the young people receive the best possible provision & access to good facilities locally. We can only do this by charities & youth organisations working together. The voluntary sector, when we work individually, does not have a strong voice & Keith hopes that with the creation of the Young Harrow Foundation we can crusade to ensure that the voices of all of the young people of Harrow are heard.
