Kids Can Achieve supports and provides services for children and young people with special needs and their carers and families. Our young people have a range of emotional, social, behavioural and learning difficulties including Autism, and ADHD.
Our objectives are to develop the self esteem, social skills and education of our children and young people and prepare them for integration into mainstream activities and independent young adulthood as far as possible. We provide for those currently unable to find the support they need and work with them towards achievement of their goals. We support the whole family in their recovery and reintegration – assessing each as individuals and offering services appropriate to their needs.
During term time, weekends and school holidays we offer Outreach services.
This is delivered on a one to one basis, using facilities out in the community and within the Kids Can Achieve building. This service is any time of day, year round, 7 days a week and is for an agreed care package.
Outreach services are not limited to activities/short breaks as we also offer escorts for school runs and we work with local schools to support children and young people with special educational needs.
