About Organisation

Afghan Association Paiwand is a multicultural refugee community organisation that serves the holistic needs of asylum seeking, refugee and migrant communities in North and Northwest London (not just Afghan). Paiwand’s mission is to improve and enhance the quality of life of these groups upon arriving and settling in the UK, through free advocacy services, mental health counselling, education initiatives, community youth and art projects, housing provision for unaccompanied minors and mentoring for young people.

Culturally Sensitive Counselling Services in North West London

Trust Afghan Association Paiwand Ltd to deliver free counselling services that respect and work with the cultural and linguistic needs of refugees and asylum seekers. Backed by more than 16 years’ experience of helping people with emotional hardship. Paiwand aims to empower people from all ethnic groups with emotional problems from Barnet, Brent, Harrow and Ealing, as well as refugees and asylum seekers who came into the UK after the August 2021 events in Afghanistan, through one to one counselling and psycho-education support to overcome the emotional hardship, build confidence, resilience, enjoy life and achieve their potentials. Paiwand also provides counselling service to clients aged 11-30 who are immigrants or have a refugee background, living, working, or studying in Harrow.

Youth Clubs and Activities in North West London

Whether you want to play sports or simply need advice, our youth clubs and activities in Edgware, London are enjoyable for all. Understanding that you may have trouble integrating upon arriving in the UK, we provide an array of social opportunities for young people. We currently offer football, cricket, and music clubs, as well as one-to-one mentoring for young refugees, asylum seekers, and unaccompanied minors in the UK.

Education Services Stag Lane Saturday School

Discover the wide range of youth education services and classes available at Stag Lane Saturday School. Welcoming every child, regardless of their background, ethnicity, or religion, our classes are vibrant and stimulating with a focus on both the National Curriculum and enrichments – parents will be notified about enrichment activities and Fun Days throughout the year. Fees £5 per child per session.
