Kairos Girls CIC
About Organisation
Survivor-led CIC for girls aged 11-18 that aims to reduce Violence against Women and Girls. Empowering Girls to Unlock Their Future.
Kairos Girls CIC runs a programme for girls and young women aged 11–18, aiming to embrace, educate, and empower those who may be vulnerable due to factors such as age, gender, socioeconomic circumstances, and wider societal challenges. The programme's key focus is supporting the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) initiative.
Kairos engages participants through an independent 9-week programme. Each week explores important topics including healthy and unhealthy relationships, domestic abuse, child sexual and criminal exploitation, the risks associated with gangs, and the impact of social media.
It is delivered via a range of interventions, including interactive activities, group discussions, and role-play, by those with lived experience.
