Kidocracy began as an interactive children’s theatre show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, introducing children aged 6–10 to key concepts of governance and democracy in a fun and engaging way.

With support from Arts Council England, the project has since evolved into a Democracy Workshop delivered in primary schools across the country.

Important Information for Schools

• DBS Checked Staff. All performers and facilitators are fully DBS checked.

• Flexible Workshop Length. Sessions can be adapted to last between 40–60 minutes, depending on your school’s timetable and requirements.

• Teacher Briefing Provided. A briefing document is sent to schools in advance, helping teachers understand the structure and topics of the workshop.

• Follow-up Support. Schools receive a plenary pack to aid further discussion around the workshop themes and the values explored.

• Flexible Pricing. We do our best to tailor fees to reflect each school’s circumstances.
