About Organisation
TCS is the proud title sponsor and official technology partner for the TCS London Marathon.
A global leader in IT services, consulting and business solutions, TCS is passionate about building healthy and connected communities. Together with the TCS London Marathon, we are championing better and more sustainable lifestyle practices for all.
TCS provides the latest in cutting-edge digital technology for the TCS London Marathon. The official technology partner since 2016, TCS powers the Official App, which provides a range of exciting, event-specific features for both marathon participants and spectators.
TCS first developed the record-breaking Official App in 2019 to provide participants and spectators with the fullest London Marathon experience. In 2020, following the cancellation of the mass event due to the pandemic, TCS updated the Official App for the first virtual London Marathon, enabling 37,966 people around the globe to take on the marathon distance remotely.
TCS continues to support the TCS London Marathon in its digital growth, developing increasingly more enriching and personalised experiences for participants, spectators and sponsors by harnessing the power of data. Together, this works to make the event even more accessible and inclusive, building the connections that unite communities, amplify fundraising and inspire activity.
