Our vision for London to be the most active city in the world is not about us working alone. It’s about working with everyone who delivers opportunities directly to Londoners. It’s about working with schools, National Governing Bodies of Sport, the private sector, local and national Government, leisure operators, charities, coaches, volunteers and so much more. We are here to support. We are here to provide insight, knowledge and expertise to anyone in London who works in physical activity and sport. We are here to make it simpler to turn good work into great achievements. Our strength is working with others. Good partnerships are what makes it possible to set out the Blueprint for a Physically Active City.

WHY WE WORK IN PARTNERSHIP

We simply cannot achieve our aspirations for London without our partners’ work. Our partners are anyone that engages with us in anyway from schools, local authorities, governing bodies if sport, leisure centres, funders, clubs and more. We provide our partners with insight, knowledge and expertise, to make it simpler for them to get more Londoners physically active. We are incredibly proud that 92% of partners surveyed in 2015 are either satisfied or very satisfied with the quality of advice and support we give, with 85% of them saying we add value to their work. We strive ourselves to be approachable, knowledgeable and imaginative when driving our vision, target and mission.

Local relations bringing together a London-wide perspective. We pride ourselves in understanding physical activity and sport in London, across all the 33 London Boroughs and have a Relationship Manager building relations within each local authority area. Our Relationship Managers play a vital role in connecting the local areas with delivery partners, such as clubs, community groups, schools and more. The team also lead on specific sports and activities and work closely with National Governing Bodies of Sport and other relevant organisations.
