London's Community Kitchen
About Organisation
London’s Community Kitchen is a grassroots organisation committed to tackling food insecurity, reducing waste, and bringing people together to build stronger, more connected communities. We believe that access to good, nutritious food should be a basic right, not a privilege, and we work hard to support individuals and families who need it most.
But we do more than just distribute food. We run educational programmes, community initiatives, and sustainability projects that give people the skills and confidence to make lasting improvements in their lives. By working closely with local businesses, charities, and volunteers, we’re creating a fairer and more resilient society where no one is left behind.
At London’s Community Kitchen, we are driven by our commitment to Zero Waste, Zero Hunger. Our mission is to create a food-secure future where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry.
Our work is built around three core principles:
- Sustainability – We actively cut down on food waste by redistributing surplus food and promoting environmentally
responsible practices. - Support – We give people the knowledge, skills, and resources to live healthier, more independent lives.
- Community – We bring people together, working with local businesses, charities, and volunteers to make a real difference.
