About Organisation
London’s Community Kitchen (LCK) has become an important part of the communities in and across suburban London.
Our ethos of ‘Zero Waste & Zero Hunger’ is the blueprint to our entire operation, we believe there is a basic human right for London’s most vulnerable communities to have access to free food.
LCK provides a holistic service in the community, which is not duplicated anywhere in London, due to the large number of volunteers involved and its key involvement with partnering organisations in Harrow, Brent and Barnet to execute the services.
Currently we serve over 10,000 Londoners a week to battle food insecurity. We are also working with 40+ schools in the borough of Harrow, provide projects that will instil in children at a young age about health and nutrition.
