About Organisation

Who Are the Metropolitan Police?

The Metropolitan Police Service (Met) is the UK’s largest police force, with over 43,000 officers and staff. It is responsible for policing Greater London and receives 25% of the total police budget for England and Wales.

South Harrow Metropolitan Police

Your local Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) is made up of dedicated Met officers working specifically within your local area, or 'ward'. These officers are supported by colleagues from across the wider borough to help keep your community safe.

We work in partnership with local councils, residents, and community leaders to identify priorities for the area. This community-led approach allows us to deliver long-term, practical solutions to local issues, while also contributing to reducing crime across London.

Youth Engagement Team – South Harrow

Our Youth Engagement Team, based at South Harrow Police Station, supports young people aged 4–18 through a range of programmes and initiatives. These include:

  • Junior Citizens

  • Sports Programmes

  • Holiday Activities

  • Workshops and Talks

We’re always keen to collaborate with local organisations working with young people. If you’d like to connect or discuss partnership opportunities, please contact PC Ben Eynon.
