Watford FC CSE Trust
About Organisation
Watford Football Club’s Community Sports and Education Trust, operating in Hertfordshire and the London boroughs of Harrow and Hillingdon, run over 30 different projects engaging with over 15,000 unique individuals every year, equating to a participation figure of over 200,000 people. Each project is designed alongside our one goal to build ‘healthier, happier, stronger communities’.
We are deeply committed to being accountable for what we do and improving how we best understand the gathering of evidence in terms of our impact and effectiveness. We routinely review our effectiveness to evaluate the impact of our work using robust and reputable methods.
To be fully accountable, we want to determine whether our work is resulting in positive change and why. The undertaking of rigorous evaluations is the only credible way of doing this. With a large number of projects completed each year, carrying out full impact evaluations on each of these would be too resource intensive. Instead, we gather data about each project and the progress made by those attending. The data is then analysed and the impact on individuals and communities assessed.
School Delivery Programmes
We offer so much more than just football – our school programmes cover a wide range of curriculum areas, alongside bespoke delivery in areas such as mental health and PE teacher education. Many of our programmes can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your school, teachers, and pupils. With a proud history of building long-lasting relationships across our local school network, we are always keen to engage with new schools while continuing to support our existing partners. Our pricing model is competitive, with package options that include discounts depending on the level of delivery you choose. Programme leads are happy to share further information via email, over the phone, or by arranging a face-to-face meeting at your school. We hope to work with your school in the near future – but delivery spaces are limited, so please get in touch as soon as possible to secure a slot.
