I am an active listener, go-getter and fun-loving as a person. I am an optimist, love taking calculated risk and love social networking. I am passionate about the work I do. My hobbies are travelling, cooking and painting.
I have a Masters in MBA finance. In the past I have worked with Multi-national organisations like Ernst & Young and ANZ Bank. Then due several personal circumstances I took a career break. I had a passion for working with people and creating a difference for them led me to the third sector.
I joined this organisation in 2011 as a project management volunteer and started peer-support groups. It was my initiative to set up separate women’s group and peer-mentoring Trainings at Radiate. I became a director in 2012. With the help of dedicated volunteers and through service user consultation, we have developed the core recovery capital model and shared values at Radiate.
I have also completed my Counselling level 4 and health and Fund-raising and Events Management diploma during my tenure at Radiate. To understand the clients and work with them frontline I have completed Practitoner level Neuro Linguisic Programing. As I started working with vulnerable adults with substance mis-use, offending and mental health background – I new this is what I want to do.
My passion for working with young people has led me to be a Mentor for Harrow YOT (Youth Offending Team)Team and then to become a Founder Trustee for Young Harrow Foundation.
