About Project

Our in-school mentoring project provides vital support and guidance for young migrants and refugees. We help these young people make steps towards their goals by coordinating local volunteers who act as positive role models and friends.

Our mentors commit to one hour-long session during school hours per week for eight weeks, in which they focus on integration, wellbeing, and adjusting to life in the UK. These sessions are essential for many who have experienced trauma, war, and separation from their families, and are more vulnerable to academic underachievement, social exclusion and mental health difficulties.
