HAF Multi-sports activities
About Project
Be Active has organised a HAF programme where children and young people will enjoy an action-packed day of sports activities, with arts and crafts activities timetabled during the day. They have designed their own healthy eating workshop where children will learn more about healthy choices/eating in greater depth. Children will have to complete challenges at each station i.e., Eatwell guide, healthier food choices etc.
Be Active will also improve the knowledge and understanding of healthy eating through food taste tests where children will try new fruits and vegetables they might not have experienced before. They will take into account any allergies and or dietary requirements.
Activities are grouped into the following programme categories:
- Sports activities i.e. football, dodgeball, basketball, cricket
- Arts & crafts
- Healthy eating workshop
- Team building activities
