This interactive workshop explores how social media shapes children and young people’s identities, behaviours and wellbeing.
Designed for upper primary and secondary students, the session helps young people think critically about digital spaces while supporting healthier conversations around online life, self-esteem and influence.
• Interactive workshop exploring social media, identity and wellbeing
• Age-appropriate discussion about online influence and digital culture
• Activities helping children and young people reflect on how online spaces affect them
• Tools for recognising positive and harmful online narratives
• Space for open, safe conversation about online experiences
Optional additional sessions available for:
• Parent/carer workshops on supporting children and young people online
• Staff sessions exploring how to open meaningful conversations with students about social media and mental health
This workshop is delivered by an integrative counsellor specialising in trauma-informed work with children and young people.
The session draws on therapeutic understanding of identity, belonging and behaviour, helping children and young people explore how digital spaces influence the way they see themselves and others.
The approach focuses on curiosity, reflection and building children and young people’s confidence to navigate online spaces more safely and thoughtfully.
• A classroom, hall or workshop space

• Sessions typically run between 45–60 minutes
