What

Bloom is the largest UK-wide programme for 14-18-year-olds focused on mental health resilience.

Delivered by Mental Health UK in schools and colleges, it equips students with the tools and knowledge to maintain their mental health through life's transitions — both those they're facing now and those ahead.

Through scenario-based discussions and relatable, real-life topics, Bloom covers areas including exam stress, social pressures and changes in friendships, coping with uncertainty, and navigating the transition to university or employment. Students come away with a better understanding of mental health — in themselves and others — plus practical tools they can keep using through future transitions.

The programme also includes staff training, so schools build lasting capacity to keep supporting student wellbeing long after the sessions end. Bloom is a paid-for programme — get in touch with Mental Health UK for pricing and delivery options for your school or college.
