About Project

Specialist, enriching programme of holiday activities from Community Connex for children aged 7-16 with a learning or physical disability.

Our programme runs across three days and gives children access to experiences and activities to give them a brilliant Easter holiday, while providing some respite to parents and carers.

What to expect at our Easter Camp..

• Trampolining
• Animal experience
• Foot golf / Mini-golf
• Robot and sensory toy making
• Pizza making/Cooking
• Multi sports day

The HAF programme runs in two locations..

• Community ConneX. 25-29 Pinner Green, Pinner, HA5 2AF
• Scouts Hub. 1A Walton Road, Harrow, HA1 4UX

The facilities

Their facilities, including a Changing Places bathroom, enable them to offer support to those with profound needs and those that need wheelchair access. A 1-1 support worker will provide individual and group support. Community Connex will run activities that will give children and young people new experiences and encourage group involvement.

About the Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) Programme

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme is a Department for Education (DfE) funded programme of activities for children and young people aged 5-16 years, during the school holidays (Winter, Easter, and Summer). The programme offers a range of activities in Harrow, including some specialist SEND provisions. Places are free for children who meet the criteria, and a free nutritious meal is provided at each programme. More about the programme.
