About Project

Afghan Association Paiwand is a multicultural refugee community organisation that serves the holistic needs of asylum seeking, refugee and migrant communities in North and Northwest London (not just Afghan). Paiwand 's mission is to improve and enhance the quality of life of these groups upon arriving and settling in the UK, through free advocacy services, mental health counselling, education initiatives, community youth and art projects, housing provision for unaccompanied minors and mentoring for young people.

Cricket is a great way to meet new people, whilst getting exercise, and and at the same time improving your confidence, through being in contact with other young people. Our sessions are run by two trained cricket coaches, with a focus on competitive / amateur tournament playing.

We play every Thursday at Harrow Leisure Centre, from 6-8pm. Joining is FREE and you can get in touch with youth@paiwand.com if you would like more information before coming.
