What
The Metropolitan Police Cyber Choices Team provides early intervention support for young people who are involved in, or at risk of, committing cyber-related offences (e.g. hacking, unauthorised access). Our focus is on education, not enforcement.
What we offer to community groups and charities:
- We work 1:1 with young people to help them understand the law, make safer choices, and channel their digital skills into positive pathways such as technology and cybersecurity careers.
- We also offer a limited number of awareness sessions for schools and community groups, covering cyber risks, the law, and how to spot and support young people at risk.
For more information on the programme, please visit our website: https://www.met.police.uk/cyberchoices, where you will also find our referral form.
If you would like to refer a young person or find out more, please contact cyberchoices@met.police.uk
