Refugee & Migrant Emotional Well-Being Workshops
About Project
As part of the new Heads Up Harrow project, Paiwand provides a programme of 3-6 tailored workshops around emotional wellbeing for young refugees, asylum seekers and migrants.
The interactive sessions help young people gain the skills to improve and maintain good mental health.
The groups are run by a trained psychotherapist with specialist knowledge of issues facing refugee communities including trauma, grief, loss, PTSD, depression and self-harm.
The groups can be provided in community based languages including Farsi and Pashto.
