What
What Is The Training?:
As part of the North West London (NWL) Integrated Care System (ICS) objectives to address inequalities, and in partnership with Harrow Council, Young Harrow Foundation and Harrow School, we are excited to offer a free in-person training session on ADHD and Autism. This unique training will incorporate experiential learning and an immersive sensory experience to enhance understanding of both conditions, ensuring attendees gain deeper insights.For: Healthcare professionals, schools and other education settings, voluntary sector, health, and social care professionals. Harrow-only organisations. Training to be two hours, in person for a minimum of 15-20 attendees at a location provided by the organisation making the booking.
What You Can Expect:

A Two-Hour Immersive Session: Gain a deeper understanding of ADHD and Autism through hands-on, experiential learning.

Sensory Overload Experience: Participate in immersive activities that simulate sensory and cognitive challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals, helping you experience their perspective firsthand.

Real Insights from a Neurodivergent Individual: A young person or adult with ADHD and/or Autism will join the session, sharing valuable real-life insights into how these conditions impact everyday situations.

Practical Strategies: Learn actionable, practical strategies to better support neurodivergent individuals, focusing on their strengths and challenges.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain new insights and equip your team with tools that can make a real difference in supporting neurodivergent students and creating more inclusive educational environments.
