About Project

1:1 fundraising support aims to support members to develop their bid writing skills through hands on support and a ‘learning by doing’ approach.

Members with little experience / confidence can access our bid writing support service. As skills and confidence progress you can then graduate up to a 'top and tail + budget' support service and finally a proof reading service.

Members are expected to only access the full bid writing service once or twice then progress independently.

We are always on hand with support.

In terms of the way it works; members are welcome to approach us at anytime and will be asked to fill out a form which helps us to gauge your overall ability, how ready you are to submit an application and the level of support required.

As well as ad-hoc opportunities, YHF proactively scan the funding environment for relevant opportunities. These opportunities are promoted online - so always check the website, or through a specific support process where a limited amount of bids will be supported start to finish (eg: Young Londoners Fund)

The final element is through training courses and meet the funder events designed to help develop members capacity and skills.

We do offer consortium bid support which also applies to associate members.
