Gender Consultant Offer
About Project
Abianda is part of a MOPAC funded project supporting young Londoners affected by county lines, alongside St Giles Trust and Safer London. We are inclusive and support young women and girls with known or suspected involvement in county line activity (directly or by association) and the professionals who support them.
Our mission is to secure a culture shift in the way services are delivered to young women affected by gangs and county lines, so that:
• they feel safe to access help
• they are no longer a hidden group in our communities
• they are free from harm and abuse
We do this by:
• delivering frontline services to gang-affected young women (aged 10-25)
• delivering training and professional development programmes to professionals who work with them.
Abianda’s Gender Consultant can offer you :
➢ Training
➢ Capacity building and complex case consultations
➢ Critical review and analysis of service provision for young women affected by county line activity.
The Gender Consultant’s practice will endeavour to support you to understand and ensure that inequalities experienced by young women are addressed and that they are better connected to services and resources in order to reduce harm.
Case Consultations
Our case consultation slots are one hour long and delivered on a 1 to 1 basis. The framework of the consultation is of Contextual Safeguarding and we will work with you and your service to identify the risk and harm a young person with County Line activity may experience and develop a pathway of support where relevant.
➔ We work holistically with a strengths based and solution focused approach.
➔ This is MOPAC funded service and is FREE for professionals to access.
To discuss any possible referrals, a training offer, book a case consultation, schedule regular slots for your service or for any enquires please email our Gender Consultant Lucia at; lucia@abianda.com
