What

HAF Baking Activities from the 19th to the 20th of December!

Our holiday club offers young people an exciting chance to create edible works of art! We’ve run these popular courses in Harrow since 2016 working with eight schools to deliver memorable, skill-building experiences.

Program Outline:

Day 1:
Icebreakers and introductions, sharing our mission of empowering young people. Baking starts with rainbow cupcakes and festive shortbread, with hands-on icing practice.
Day 2:
Introduction to whole cakes, with a Victoria sponge baking session. Kids decorate and prepare to display their cakes at the parent showcase!

Each child will receive recipes, baking tips, and a goody bag. Supervised by fully DBS-checked staff, they’ll learn healthier recipe variations, the importance of patience, and the joy of achievement.

The Holiday, Activities & Food (HAF) Programme

The HAF Programme is FREE and provides healthy food and enriching activities to children and young people on benefits-related free school meals during school holidays. Check if you are eligible.
