What
Are you looking for a unique half-term activity this February half-term? Why not try the Horse Experience Day at SLTH stables!
Children will step into the world of horses, learning about:
- Horse psychology - understand how horses think and communicate
- Grooming and exercise - get hands-on with brushing and leading horses
- Foraging - discover plants that keep our horses healthy
- Stable care - help muck out and create a cosy space for our horses
Dates:
- Wednesday 19th February, 10am to 2pm for children aged 7 to 11
- Thursday 20th February, 10am to 2pm for children aged 12 to 16
Location: Greengates Stables, Mays Lane, Barnet EN5 2AQ
Cost: £40 per child - we have limited bursary options available, please ask!
We welcome children and young people with SEN or SEMH who can manage in a small group without parental support. If your child needs extra support, please get in touch with us to see if we can help.
