What

An exciting new Harrow Arts Centre programme providing industry skills and knowledge for young adults aged 19-26!

We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants who are living or working in the London Borough of Harrow.

HAC Young Creatives Programme aims to develop the skills and talents of young people looking to begin careers in the creative industries. The course is designed to develop your individual creative practice, and work together as an ensemble to create a professional production.

The first term is focussed on skills development and broadening your knowledge of a wide scope of disciplines. This includes writing for stage, directing, producing, physical theatre, puppetry, cabaret & drag, technical theatre and design and marketing. In this term masterclasses are taught by industry leading artists.

The second term you will work together as an ensemble to put what you’ve learnt into practice and create a new piece of theatre from scratch. You will work more independently as an ensemble, guided by Daisy, the course lead. The term will conclude with an intensive showcase week - in which WE PAY YOU to take part!

We’ve designed this course to develop your creative skills and your practical knowledge so you’re ready to go out into the industry and take the limelight. What’s more, you’ll meet like-minded creative enthusiasts and become part of a supportive and inspiring artistic community.
