What

"Stepping on Stone" is a dynamic short film project where young people from Wealdstone will partner with experienced filmmakers, screenwriters, and digital artists to create a 15-minute short film. This hands-on opportunity will inspire creativity, provide practical filmmaking skills, and culminate in a community film screening.

Key Objectives:

1. Skill Development: From screenwriting to acting and directing, your child will learn essential filmmaking skills that could spark a passion for the arts.
2. Creative Expression: We encourage every participant to share their ideas and contribute to a meaningful, original story.
3. Team Collaboration: Working side by side with professionals, your child will experience the importance of teamwork.
4. Community Engagement: The project ends with a special screening event, celebrating your child's work and engaging the entire community.

Harrow Change Makers

After catching up with over 7,000 children and young people, we created a report on their thoughts and worries about growing up in Harrow. We started the Harrow Change Makers Grant Programme where amazing organisations in Harrow that support children and young people offer FREE activities tailor-made for them!
