What
The Creative Crew Programme is a safe space where children and young people can enjoy fun, hands-on activities (painting, cooking, sewing, clay work, etc), making a big difference in their everyday lives, especially those who have a passion for the arts.
We specialise in supporting young people who face a range of challenges, including autism (ASD), ADHD, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, OCD, grief, phobias, difficulties with school, and other life challenges.
Sessions are designed to be flexible, nurturing, and accessible, so each young person can participate at their own pace and ability. Activities will include:
- Art & Craft Projects – painting, clay, textiles, mosaics, printmaking, and mixed media – giving participants the chance to express emotions, explore identity, and build confidence through tangible outcomes.
- Music & Drama – using instruments, drumming, singing, roleplay, and theatre games to foster collaboration, self-expression, and confidence in public settings.
- Wellbeing & Journaling – guided art journaling, mindfulness-based activities, and creative writing exercises that help participants reflect on their feelings, regulate emotions, and practice gratitude.
- Collaborative Projects – working together on murals, group installations, or performances, allowing young people to experience teamwork, belonging, and pride in shared achievements.
- Celebrations & showcases – regular opportunities to share their work with peers, families, and the wider community, helping them build confidence, communication skills, and a sense of achievement.
Every session is designed to balance creativity and wellbeing. Participants don’t just learn art skills, they learn how to manage anxiety, build friendships, develop resilience, and re-engage with education or employment pathways.
Harrow Change Makers
After catching up with almost 8,000 children and young people, we created a report on their thoughts and worries about growing up in Harrow. We started the Harrow Change Makers Grant Programme, where amazing organisations in Harrow that support children and young people offer FREE activities tailor-made for them!
