What
Flash Musicals is a musical theatre programme where children and young people take part in weekly performing arts workshops, working together to create and perform a live show. Through singing, dancing and acting, participants build confidence, improve wellbeing and develop teamwork and communication skills in a safe, supportive environment shaped by over 27 years of experience.
Young people are involved in every stage of the production, from choosing the theme and developing the storyline to learning choreography, songs and performance skills. There are also opportunities to explore technical and creative roles such as lighting, sound, costumes and set design, ensuring everyone can take part in a way that suits their interests and abilities. The programme concludes with a performance for family and friends, celebrating creativity, effort and personal achievement.
Flash Musicals is a registered Safe Haven and an inclusive, fully accessible organisation that supports children and young people facing challenges such as bullying, anxiety, social isolation or financial hardship. The programme promotes kindness, respect and positive mental health, while keeping participants active through creative movement. By offering a welcoming and empowering space, Flash Musicals helps young people feel safe, valued and confident both on and off the stage.
Harrow Change Makers
After catching up with over 7,000 children and young people, we created a report on their thoughts and worries about growing up in Harrow. We started the Harrow Change Makers Grant Programme where amazing organisations in Harrow that support children and young people offer FREE activities tailor-made for them!
