What
All local authorities must publish a ‘Local Offer’, setting out in one place information about provision they expect to be available across education, health and social care for children and young people in their area who have SEN or are disabled, including those who do not have Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans. Most of these are also referred to as ‘statutory services’, which means it is a legal requirement and each local area receives public funds have these services in place.
We help parents and schools discover what is available locally in the Education, Health and Social Care departments for families with children and young people with SEND. We also provide lots of information about support offered by local and national SEND charities and organisation. This is FREE service available over the phone, and in person through a coffee morning and advice surgeries conducted at school as part of your support services for your parents. SENCOs find this particularly helpful because it helps reduce stress, makes their job easier and saves them time. Contact us for more information.
