What
Home group is organising a HAF programme with a freshly cooked meal each day and a variety of activities for all children including sports, art, cooking, drama, mask theatre and, baking. Each activity session will be led by a qualified instructor and all the sessions are interactive and rely on group participation to achieve the goals.
The children will have the opportunity on one of the days to cook their own lunch and whilst attending the healthy cookery sessions Home Group will teach the children the importance of a balanced diet and healthy cooking techniques. They have a partnership with Tesco’s & London community kitchen who have agreed to donate fresh fruit & veg to be handed out each day and for the children to take home.

ABOUT THE HOLIDAY, ACTIVITIES AND FOOD (HAF) PROGRAMME
The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme is a Department for Education (DfE) funded programme of activities for children and young people aged 5-16 years, during the school holidays (Winter, Easter, and Summer). The programme offers a range of activities in Harrow, including some specialist SEND provisions. Places are free for children who meet the criteria, and a free nutritious meal is provided at each programme. More about the programme.
