What

HeadsUp are hosting a free training session for Harrow’s professionals to build your knowledge and confidence to support young people who are refugees or seeking asylum with their mental health needs.

Who is it for? Any professional in Harrow who works with young people (up to age 25) can benefit from this training. That includes school staff, charities and social enterprises, youth group leaders and volunteers as well as many more!

Who runs it? This training will be delivered by the Paiwand, part of the HeadsUp partnership.

HeadsUp is a partnership of 5 charities in North West London providing specialised mental health support to young people who face additional barriers to accessing support. Paiwand are a North-West London charity who help refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants to build a happy life in the UK. They have a wide range of services including: Mental Health; Housing and Benefits; Employment; Immigration; Learning English.

Our funded training is free to Level Up Youth Work members if you have NOT yet registered as a Level Up Youth Work member then sign up for free here.
