What
The impressionable Minds HRP is suitable for all young people aged 11-16 as well as those who may have displayed inappropriate behaviours or language at school or at home. This programme will feed into your Relationships, Sex and Health Education curriculum.
HRP aims to help young people to:
- Identify what makes a relationship healthy and unhealthy
- Recognise early warning signs of an unhealthy relationship
- Rehearse personal boundaries and consent
- Explore the importance of equality and mutual respect
- Increase self-confidence and empathy for others
- Increase knowledge of human rights and gender-based violence
- Increase confidence to seek help
The programme is delivered in a group setting (up to 12 students). The HRP is a fixed programme of 6 sessions, each lasting 90 minutes. Within the sessions, students have the opportunity to learn new skills and concepts within a supportive environment. The HRP is delivered by an actor facilitator over six weekly sessions as per the table below. Our facilitator holds Enhanced DBS certification.
