Bereavement can be challenging to manage, this session will equip you with the following to support and manage those that are bereaved or have suffered a loss:

Objectives for this session:

• Increase awareness and knowledge of loss and bereavement
• Introduction to Bereavement Care
• Develop confidence when speaking with someone who has been bereaved
• Attentive listening and empathic responses
• Suggestions for signposting and where to get further help for bereaved clients

This training will help you prepare to support and manage those that are suffering a bereavement and loss.

Trainer: Bereavement Care is a well-respected local charity providing quality bereavement care and support for over 30 years for adults and children living in the London Boroughs of Harrow and Hillingdon and neighbouring areas, regardless of age, gender, sexual preference, marital or socio-economic status, religion, ethnic or cultural background. Their team of trainers have considerable experience in providing bereavement training courses for external organisations.
