Supporting Young People with Substance Use – Compass Elevation Harrow Training

This training is designed for youth workers, play workers, volunteers, and frontline staff who support young people navigating substance use. Delivered by Compass Elevation Harrow, the session will equip you with practical knowledge and tools to:

• Understand why young people may use substances
• Respond safely and effectively when young people disclose use
• Encourage reporting and access to support services
• Apply harm reduction approaches in your practice

Through discussion, case studies, and practical activities, you’ll leave with greater confidence in supporting young people and promoting safer choices.

Who should attend: Anyone working directly with children and young people who may be thinking about experimenting with or using substances.
