The Young Harrow Foundation does not manage bookings for this activity and is not responsible for the delivery of the project.
What
Our Mother Tongue service enables us to organise parenting courses for non-English speaking parents and carers. Our Parent Support Groups provides the opportunity for parents to meet with a dedicated facilitator who speaks their language for six sessions.
Group sessions give parents the opportunity to meet and discuss ways to improve communication with their children and understand their behaviour. The group facilitator listens to the parent's concern and offers ideas and new strategies for overcoming issues. The ultimate aim is to restore harmony and improve family relationships.
Parenting courses are currently available in:
