What
A safe space for parents and carers in Harrow, with a child on a waiting list for mental health services.
We know this is a difficult time. Don't stand alone when you can meet other parents going through the same.
Breathe is a peer support group for parents or carers of children / young people waiting to access mental health services. We meet monthly, either face to-face or on Zoom, to provide each other with support and a safe space to share experiences. In this welcoming and relaxed, group you will be seen, heard and understood.
As well as our monthly support group, we also are able to offer workshops and special support sessions with experts.
Breathe was founded in 2019 by Bev, a local mother who found the journey to help her child cope and achieve while struggling with Mental Health extremely hard for her self, child and her whole family.
She has championed and designed this new opportunity. This project is being supported by Young Harrow Foundation, Harrow Council, Harrow CAMHS, Hope Harrow, CAAS and Heads Up.
Please get in touch by emailing breathe.parentsupport@hopeharrow.org.uk and we can then add you to our mailing list.
