What
A curriculum-based programme aimed at young people aged 11-18, who are marginalised or at risk of not fulfilling their potential and could do with some extra support to work on their resilience, confidence, focus and drive.
The programme runs across ten weeks where we work on transferrable skills through booklet tasks, discussion based activities and team building exercises. The programme can also be adapted and tailored to the needs and abilities of the group.
Goal: To inspire children and young people to develop the personal skills and positive attitudes to succeed in life.
How it works...
- The programme is delivered across ten weeks with further opportunities for participants to engage in social action projects, careers events, and EDI workshops
- Schools can select up to twelve young people all of whom have at least one primary risk factor to take part in the programme
- Schools are required to allocate one-hour weekly slot where Trust staff can attend the school and deliver workshops
- After completing the programme, participants will be invited to attend a celebration day at Vicarage Road Stadium
