About Project

Project Rugby is a joint initiative between Premiership Rugby and England Rugby designed to increase participation in the game by people from traditionally underrepresented groups:

Black Asian & Minority Ethnic People
People from Lower Socio-Economic backgrounds
Disabled People

We are offering a FREE programme to community groups across Harrow for young people they work with, aged 14yrs+ to have the opportunity to play rugby and develop new skills.

We are very flexible about what time of day our trained coaches deliver the sessions - whatever works around you and your community. You will need to provide a local venue, or have the ability top get the group to Allianz Park in Hendon.

*One of our coaches is a trained SEN rugby specialist and we are very keen to offer this opportunity to SEN groups in Harrow*

Alongside this programme - we are also committed to working with young people aged 14+ to develop the skills to become tag Rugby coaches and referees. This will consist of a series of FREE workshops, and these young people then assist with the coaching and preparation of tag rugby in local primary schools, refereeing at their district tag rugby festival. Additionally, students are expected to log 10 additional voluntary hours before being signed off with certification upon completion.
