More about the course....

This course introduces children aged 9–11 to coding through fun, interactive projects and games.

Over six sessions, pupils learn how to:

  • Break problems into clear step-by-step instructions

  • Fix errors in code through logical thinking and persistence

  • Create digital art using shapes, angles and patterns

  • Use loops to make their code more efficient

  • Design and animate their own characters

  • Build interactive projects that respond to music or key presses

By the end of the course, children will have created their own mini-projects - from digital artwork to interactive animations - while developing core skills in logical thinking, resilience, and digital creativity.
