What

This programme is open to young people who currently attend, or will be joining, Shaftesbury High School.

Shaftesbury Youth Club runs every Wednesday during term time from 3:00pm to 5:45pm over a ten-week period. It offers a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space where young people can have fun, make friends, build confidence, develop independence, and learn new skills.

Every week, young people have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of exciting and accessible activities. This can include drama, yoga, dance, art, cooking, accessible bike riding, photography, circus skills, music, sports, sensory activities, and much more. We also invite specialist organisations to deliver workshops throughout the programme, giving young people the chance to experience new activities and discover new interests.

Our experienced youth team works alongside each young person, providing the right level of support to help everyone take part, achieve their goals, and enjoy every session. Whether you want to try something new, spend time with friends, or simply have fun in a supportive environment, Shaftesbury Youth Club has something for everyone.
