About Project

For this holiday activities Steps to Success has prepared very different kind of enriching and engaging activities that will take the children a step further out of their comfort zone. The programme is for children and young people aged 8 - 16. The programme will follow the following topics:

Public Speaking

• The essential elements of a speech
• Intonation with impact through voice modulation, body language, discussion map, creating a perfect story. Improvisation, steps to deliver a perfect speech &social that will allow them to grow up to be expressive and confident adults.

Financial education

• Understand the specific thinking of successful people in business
• Look, discuss & analyse the concept of budget - income vs. costs, financial pitfalls, cash flows to be successful
• Learn & consider methods of accumulation
• See and learn what an investment table and the main financial documents represent. The ability to understand and use a variety of financial skills such as personal financial management, budgeting and investing.

Success Mindset

• Today's elite athletes cannot win without proper training, mindset and skills. Perfection does not develop quickly but needs much more than additional time, effort and difficulty. This course, Mindset for Success, intervenes in the personal development of children. Learning a course becomes much easier when you have the right mindset and things planned from the beginning. Through this course, we train the children for their success and tomorrow. We help them explore and discover the notion of alternative education through: self-knowledge, personal development and development of social and emotional skills.

ABOUT THE HOLIDAY, ACTIVITIES AND FOOD (HAF) PROGRAMME

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme is a Department for Education (DfE) funded programme of activities for children and young people aged 5-16 years, during the school holidays (Winter, Easter, and Summer). The programme offers a range of activities in Harrow, including some specialist SEND provisions. Places are free for children who meet the criteria, and a free nutritious meal is provided at each programme. More about the programme.
