About Project

Mind in Harrow provides free substance misuse and wellbeing workshops to 11-25 year olds in schools, colleges and youth services.

These workshops are about the link between substance misuse and mental health and how drug and alcohol use can be unhealthy coping mechanisms for many young people facing mental health challenges.

They aim to support young people to:

  • increase their understanding of mental health and substance misuse
  • increase their knowledge and confidence to reduce engagement in drug and alcohol misuse
  • learn coping strategies, build emotional resilience, and understand how to look after their mental health
