What
Change is hard, but the right kind of support can make all the difference.
Whether you're a friend, neighbour, colleague, or professional, we all have moments where we're trying to help someone else make a healthier choice or build a better habit.
In this session, we'll explore practical, everyday ways to support behaviour and lifestyle change - without lecturing, pushing, or taking over. You'll learn practical techniques that build confidence, reduce resistance, and help people move toward change in their own time and their own way.
What You'll Learn:
Why behaviour change is hard, and what really helps (and hinders) it
The stages people go through when making a change
Simple, practical listening and conversation skills that support change
How to help someone set realistic goals and take small, sustainable steps
This session is open to everyone who wants to support the people around them. It's a chance to build practical skills for helping others make positive, lasting change.
