What
Blocks of sessions of non-contact boxing focused on promoting active lifestyle combined with mentoring focused on addressing issues around self-esteem, confidence, pressures to conform to sociocultural ideals, media and social media impact on the image of self.
Block of 10 sessions of non-contact boxing/mentoring for groups of up to 25 students.
The physical activity combined with mentoring and character education will be focused on increasing positive body image and self-esteem, building confidence and resilience as well as promoting behaviour modification and motivation to change disordered eating habits. This programme is delivered in partnership with STRIDES service.
Schools will be required to offer space for the delivery of our activities as well as identify cohorts of students that would benefit from the programme. Schools will also be expected to provide post-programme feedback.
