What
John Lyon’s Charity’s funding has enabled the Afghan Association to establish a Taekwondo Club in Harrow aimed at all teenagers and young adults. The Taekwondo club is one of the most successful projects in Harrow, providing excellent opportunities for young people to keep fit and healthy, overcome isolation by making new friends and having fun. Considering the progress made in a very short space of time, the Taekwondo Club is a story of success, exceeding all expectations. As a quality assurance measure, the Taekwondo Club is affiliated to the British Taekwondo Association.
Afghan Association of London runs a very popular weekly Taekwondo club at Harrow Leisure Centre. It's mixed group of all abilities and ages. A great option for families or young people who want to improve their fitness through Taekwondo.
Whether you are a beginner or have some experience, you are welcome to join our very friendly and welcoming group. The class is run by a trained Taekwondo instructor, and the club is affiliated with the British Taekwondo Association.
You will learn new skills and make some new friendships at the same time. Many of our young people who attend find that taking part in physical activity like Taekwondo helps to alleviate some symptoms of stress and maintain good emotional health.
