A gentle forest school group for home-educated children and those not currently in school (ages 5–12)

We know that for some children, traditional school environments can feel overwhelming. Whether your child is home educated, experiencing school anxiety, or currently not in school, finding the right kind of space for them to feel safe, confident, and themselves can be hard.

That’s why Woodland Adventure Forest School exists.

Every Tuesday, we offer a relaxed, nurturing outdoor group for children aged 5–12 – designed with their needs at the heart. There’s no pressure, no rigid structure, and no expectations to “fit in” to a system that doesn’t work for them.

Instead, children can:
🌳 Climb trees, build dens and explore the woods
🔥 Learn practical skills like fire lighting and whittling (safely supported)
🎨 Get creative with nature crafts and messy play
🪵 Discover the natural world through hands-on learning
🌿 Take quiet time when they need it – hammocks, space, and calm are always available

Our Tuesday Woodland Space is a powerful way for children to rebuild confidence, develop social connections, and rediscover a love of learning—at their own pace, in their own way.

This is a small, inclusive, and understanding community where families are welcomed exactly as they are. Parents and carers are free to stay or leave - it’s entirely up to you.
